Single JackScew Chain Clamp

The versatile Single Jackscrew Chain Clamp will accurately align and reform pipes, elbows, flanges, and other pipefittings within its operating range. The Single Jackscrew Chain Clamp is available in steel and stainless steel models for pipe sizes 1” (25mm) to 54” (1372mm). Pipes and fittings can be fully welded without removal of the clamp. One Single Jackscrew Chain Clamp covers the range of eight (8) Cage Clamps.

The Single Jackscrew Chain Clamp reforms the mating side of the weld joint only. The Clamp is capable of reforming pipes to schedule 40 and aligning pipes or fittings to schedule 80. The clamp's Level and Support device supports Elbows, tees and other fitting insuring the maximum amount of safety to the welder.

Jackbars spaced around the circumference of the pipe provides precision alignment of the inside or outside diameter of the mating pipe or fitting to the main pipe within 1/64” (.4mm) or less. The Jackbar Jackscrew exerts pressure on the high points of the mating pipes or fitting to eliminate “Hi-Lo”. The pad of Jackscrew pivots to handle uneven surfaces encountered in the alignment process. Spacing Screws can be added to the Jackbar for precise weld gap adjustment. Each clamp includes the number of Jackbars for its range, Main Block, Chain, Fine Adjustment Level and Support Device, Storage Box, Clamp Wrench, and Parts and Operating Manual.
